★~Palmar Hyperhidrosis

Here I am, sitting in the dark with my nearsighted eyes and geek glasses, with conniving ants crawling inches beside me and my epic sweaty palms. It sucks. And I can't sleep because... Ha. I can't tell you about that. lol. So moving on, let's educate ourselves a little about Palmar Hyperhidrosis aka Sweaty Palms.

Taken from The Center of Hyperhidrosis:

Sweaty Palms, known medically as Palmar Hyperhidrosis, or excessive hand sweating, is the most common presentation of hyperhidrosis. The term "hypersympathetic activity" is more accurate terminology because excessive sweating is caused by heightened activity in the sympathetic chain. The sympathetic chain, part of the autonomic nervous system, is located within the chest cavity and has nothing to do with motoric or sensory functions.

Excessive hand sweating can be quite severe affecting a patient's everyday life both functionally and socially. In about 40% of the patients the problem is genetic. Sweaty palms usually begins early in childhood and can get more severe towards the late teenage years and into early adulthood.

The International Hyperhidrosis Society divides the severity of Palmar Hyperhidrosis or Excessive Hand Sweating into four subgroups. Group one consists of patients that have mild hand sweating that does not cause any functional or social problems. On the other end of the spectrum are patients with excessive hand sweating at a level of wetness described as dripping affecting them on a daily basis. Patients from the last group rarely have benefit from conservative measures such as Drysol, Drionic, Maxim, Oral Medications, or Botox.

Well, that sucks doesn't it? Damn effing "hypersympathetic activity". I hate it when my hands get all soaked and leaves smudges on my laptop. O___O It's an everyday horror I get to battle. If my mouse could talk it would have said "PI mo namang bata ka oh! Nababasa ako lagi sayo eh!!" Mamumura talaga ako. But I should be thankful (really now?) that my palmar hyperhidrosis is mild. Yes, I know friends who have excessive hand sweating. And I mean, sweat dripping from your hands scenario. Well, that happens to me but very rarely. It's just either my hand precipitate a bit or it gets really dry. Yet still, whew!

On the other hand, I did a lot of semi-nude art viewing today. Hey! F*ck off if you're not open-minded. Most are of fashion photoshoots. They were really artistic and beautiful. Ha. I'm not trying to become a lesbi here. lol. Once you know how to appreciate art, no matter how raw it is presented to you, if it's beautiful.. IT IS. But on some of them, my comment is just... "DAMN! Do they feed their models?!?" They're thin as hell that it's painful to look at it. ;__;

I just fell inlove with some photographer's art. ♥ Alyz, Chris Anthony and Eugenio Recuenco. I am always inclined to the dark aesthetic concept. Keipi came over and we talked about her new frustration. We were like little teenage girls feeling flutters in our tummies as we talked. You probably get the idea of what we were talking about. Ha. Crushes. :P Kulang nalang are suppressed giggles and a pink diary book. It would lead to a girls night out. But it's reallt nice to feel that young girl in you every once and a while and being able to share it with a friend who is as kalog as you, it becomes true epic.
